Overview

Proxy Flipper is a browser utility that lets you configure one HTTP proxy endpoint and switch browser proxy routing on or off.

Data stored on your device

Proxy Flipper stores the following configuration locally:

• the proxy hostname or IP address you enter;
• the proxy port you enter; and
• whether you last selected the enabled or disabled state.

This information is used only to provide the extension's single purpose and restore your chosen configuration after a browser restart.

Data collection and sharing

Proxy Flipper does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data. It has no analytics, advertisements, accounts, tracking, or developer-operated servers.

Proxy Flipper does not request access to page contents, tabs, browsing history, cookies, credentials, or communications. Chromium routes browser traffic through the endpoint you configure while the extension is enabled. Proxy Flipper does not read or retain that traffic.

Permissions

• Proxy: sets or clears the endpoint you configured and verifies Chromium's effective proxy state.
• Storage: retains the endpoint and selected state locally across browser restarts.

Data removal

Removing Proxy Flipper from Chromium removes its locally stored extension configuration. You may replace the saved endpoint at any time from the extension's options page.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Proxy Flipper's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Any locally stored information is used only to provide or improve the extension's single, user-facing proxy toggle function.
